Travelling on the N26 to Foxford (continue through town and turn left at bridge, R318 road to Pontoon. Continue on that road for approx 4 km, past Drummin Wood on right) until you reach a T junction, turn left for Terrybaun Pottery and Castlebar.
In 0.9 of a mile on you will come to Pontoon Bridge Hotel, 1 mile further on you will come to Healy`s Hotel. The entrance gate to Massbrook Wood is 3.9 miles from Healy's Hotel.
At this T junction you take the R315 Lahardaune/Crossmolina Road (also Terrybaun Pottery). 1.5 miles on you will pass a sign for Terrybaun Pottery. Further on you will have a view of the lake, and two white gates...the second ornate gate is 0.8 of a mile from the main wood entrance for the shoot will be signposted.
